New ways to organize your life
![]()
| You might have noticed that after you log in to Dandelife now you see three new links at the top of every page. They are the new ways you can organize your life with Dandelife: My Life, My Streams and My Network. My Life is the old skool way. It’s a window into your stories. You can view your life as a blog or a timeline or as photos and videos or as tags and people and notes to self. It’s the you you consciously write about, photograph and video. |

| Streams, however, are the you Dandelife listens to even when you’re not on Dandelife.com. How does that work? Easy. You tell us a bit about where you like to hang out (facebook, last.fm, upcoming.org, for example) and we’ll record your comings and goings there automagically. We’ve partnered with sites like flickr and youtube before, but by adding your music, your bookmarks, your events calendar and more, you’re sure to preserve all of the elements in your life you want to preserve without having to consciously do it. Think of it as a personal assistant who’s noting all of the things in your life you may not think are important now but will want to remember later. Neat! |

| My Network.
Along with your life and your streams are the streams of your friends. One of my main reasons for visiting the site now is to find out what Tom’s been up to. An interesting guy, Tom. Since Tom’s sharing his life with me, our new network tab makes that process much easier. Just log in and every day is laid out nicely for you to see who’s doing what. So make some more friends and check your network updates daily. |

| On the other hand, if you’re the type that needs to be reminded, we can email you your network updates too.
Here’s where you can subscribe to those updates: |

| And this is what they will look like when they show up in your in-box. |

Facebook on Dandelife
| We don’t want to rule the world. We just want to live a good life, make friends, and tell good stories. That’s why it makes perfect sense for us to put Dandelife in Facebook. If you’re in facebook (and many of you already are) and want to share you Dandelife, write stories and have them posted to your profile, it’s as easy as adding our new Facebook App to your profile. If you’re not a member of facebook, don’t sweat it. But if you are, tell all your friends! You can post your facebook photos to your Dandelife and more. Check it out. |
